Turbo accessories

Turbo accessories: everything you need around the turbo. Think of oil feed and return lines, gasket sets, pressure converters and solenoid valves, coolant lines, charge pipes and boost hoses. Replace the oil lines with every new turbo

By far the majority of repeat turbo failures are caused by a contaminated or internally coked oil feed line: the new turbo receives too little oil and seizes again within thousands of kilometres. So fit new oil lines with every turbo replacement — or at the very least flush them thoroughly — and change the oil and filter. Also check the return line: a blocked return pushes oil past the seals into the intake and exhaust housings, causing blue smoke and oil consumption. A faulty pressure converter or solenoid valve causes boost pressure complaints that are often wrongly attributed to the turbo; cheap to replace preventively.
