Engine mounts
Engine mounts damp the vibrations of the block and keep the engine and gearbox firmly in place. In this collection you will find mounts and complete sets for the VW Transporter T5/T6, Seat Leon, BMW Z4 and 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo V70/XC90, Subaru Impreza and Honda Civic, among others, alongside swap kits for American V8s such as the Chevrolet Small Block and Ford Windsor.
When to replace?
If you feel a jolt when accelerating or lifting off the throttle, or the interior vibrates at idle, a mount has usually torn or sagged. Preferably replace all mounts at the same time: a new mount next to a worn one wears out faster. With hydraulic mounts, fluid leaking from the mount is the tell-tale sign of wear.
