Strut, compressor or valve block?
Unlike many other models, the S-Class has a complete air suspension strut with integrated damper at each corner. If the ride has become choppy or one corner is sagging, replace the strut: for the W220 the 2203202438 at the front (also available with ADS) and the 2203205013 at the rear, and for the W221 the front struts as a left/right set (2213204913) — note that the 4Matic version (2213200438/2213200538) differs from the RWD version. If the car rises slowly, the compressor is due: the 2203200304 for the W220, also available with valve block, or the 2213201704 for the W221. The comfort this car is famous for stands or falls with healthy struts; wait too long to replace them and the compressor will pump itself to death on the leak. We also supply complete kits with four struts and a pump.
