Mercedes-Benz turbos

Sprinter, Vito or passenger car?
The Sprinter is well represented: from the KP39 for the 213/313/315 CDI (A6460900280) to a twin billet CHRA for the OM646 bi-turbo. For the V6 diesel in the C-, E- and CLK-Class (OM642) there is both the complete GTA2052GVK with actuator (765155-5007S) and the separate cartridge. Choose a CHRA when the compressor and turbine housings of your old turbo are undamaged; that makes a considerable difference in price. If the problem lies only in the boost pressure control, a separate (electric) actuator or boost pressure converter is often all you need.
How to find the right one
Within a single model, Mercedes uses a remarkably large number of different turbo versions. So search by the A- or OEM number of your old turbo, or use the make/model/year finder at the top of the page. When in doubt, check the engine code (the OM or M number) on the identification plate of the engine block.
