Ford air suspension
Ford air suspension for the Transit (from 2001 as well as the Transit 150/250/350 of 2015-2024), the F-250 and F-350, the Expedition and the Crown Victoria, plus sister models such as the Lincoln Town Car and Navigator. The range runs from auxiliary suspension sets with 12V compressor for vans to individual rear air springs such as 3U2Z5580PA for the Crown Victoria/Town Car and compressor 3W1Z5319BA. Transit or F-Series no longer reaching ride height?
If the vehicle hangs on one corner, the leak is in the air spring or strut on that side. If it sags all round or across the whole rear axle and the system pumps slowly, the compressor or the relay is worn. If the compressor failed because it kept pumping against a leaking air spring, replace both at the same time to prevent a repeat.
