Humming noise that grows with speed?

You usually hear a worn wheel bearing first on the motorway as a low hum. If the noise gets louder in a left-hand bend, the wear is almost always on the right — the loaded bearing — and vice versa. Put the car on a lift and rock the wheel vertically: perceptible play confirms the diagnosis. With a press and pull sleeve kit you press the new bearing into the hub carrier without a workshop press, without any angled load on the races.
