Volkswagen CHRA / cartridges
With a CHRA cartridge (core assembly) you replace only the rotating internals of your turbo — shaft, compressor wheel, turbine wheel and bearing housing — while the original housings, with their perfect fit on the engine, stay in place. This is our largest brand collection, with cartridges for the 1.9 TDI in all its variants (ALH, AUY/AJM, AXB/AXC for the T5), the 2.0 TDI (CBAA, Tiguan and Golf), the 2.5 TDI from the T4, T5, LT and Crafter, the 2.0 BiTDI from the Amarok and Transporter, and petrol engines from the 1.2 TSI up to the 2.0 TFSI (AXX/BWA/BPY) from the Golf V GTI. Identify the correct cartridge using the OEM or turbo number on your old turbo, for example 701854-5004S for the 1.9 TDI ALH with 90 hp. Not sure? Send us the number and we will look it up for you.
Why buy from us: local stock, warranty on manufacturing defects and Netherlands-based customer service.
Also of interest: all CHRA cartridges and our complete Volkswagen turbos.
