Universal / other air suspension
Universal and other air suspension: everything that falls outside the major make collections. Think universal 2,500-2,600 lbs air springs with 1/2 NPT connection (also fitting as an alternative to the Firestone W21-760-6781), 12V compressor sets with tank and pressure switch, and wireless control kits. Diagnose first, then order
Whatever the vehicle, the rule holds: if it sags at one corner, the air spring or strut on that side is leaking. If it sags all round or across a whole axle and the system pumps slowly or continuously, the compressor or the relay is the victim. And if that compressor failed because of a leaking air spring, always replace both — a new pump on a leaking system will not last long.
