DPF fault caused by a defective temperature sensor?
A worn EGT sensor gives false readings, so the DPF regeneration no longer starts — the filter then clogs up even though there is nothing wrong with it. So replace a sensor with deviating readings immediately; with the special EGT socket set you remove it without damage. Check the OE number and the number of pins for the correct version.
