    Intake and exhaust manifolds by make and engine code: exhaust manifolds for the VW T5/Touareg and Crafter 2.5 TDI (070253017A) and BMW 1/3 Series, intake manifolds for BMW N47 diesels (11614728712), Audi/VW/Skoda 2.0 TDI (03L129711AG) and Mercedes CDI, plus aluminium dual-plane intake manifolds for the Ford Small Block 289/302 V8. Also repair kits and separate flap actuators for manifolds with swirl flaps.

    Ticking noise on cold starts or a swirl flap fault code?

    A ticking or blowing noise that disappears once the engine is warm points to a cracked exhaust manifold or leaking gasket. On modern diesels, the swirl flaps in the intake manifold are the weak spot: soot and oil deposits make them seize, followed by a fault code and loss of power. A complete new manifold with actuator is then the lasting solution.
