Only the glass broken? Replace just the glass
If the mirror housing is intact and the adjustment still works, a separate mirror glass is all you need: prise the old glass out of the backing plate with a plastic spatula and press the new one firmly into place. Note the difference between convex (domed, wide view) and aspherical (extra-curved outer edge against the blind spot) and, for heated glass, count the contact tabs. One mirror often comes in five versions — with or without heating, indicator, electric folding — so compare the OE number before ordering.
