Worn turbo or just a sticking actuator?
Not every boost pressure complaint means a broken turbo. For the 1.4 TSI in the Kodiaq, Superb and Yeti, for example, a separate electric actuator is available (04E198725F), and for the 1.2 TSI with engine code CBZA/CBZB an actuator of 11.6 cm. If the internals really are worn, choose between a complete turbo — such as the 03F145701H for the 1.2 TSI in the Fabia, Octavia, Roomster and Yeti — or a CHRA cartridge, such as the one for the 2.0 TDI with BKD/AZV engine code. The cartridge is more economical, but requires undamaged housings and careful fitting.
How to find the right one
Check the OEM number on the identification plate of your old turbo and search by it in the search bar. If that does not work, use the make/model/year finder at the top of the page and, when in doubt, check the engine code: within a single model year Skoda often supplied several power variants with different turbos.
