What you actually replace during a turbo overhaul is the CHRA cartridge: one compact unit with the shaft, the compressor wheel, the turbine wheel and the bearings, fitting into your original turbo housing. For Škoda you will find cartridges here for the 1.9 TDI of the Octavia II and Superb, the 2.0 TDI of the Yeti, the 1.6 TDI, the 1.4 TDI of the Fabia, the 2.5 TDI V6 of the Superb and petrol engines such as the 1.2 and 1.4 TSI of the Fabia and Octavia Combi. Because Škoda uses the same VAG blocks as Volkswagen, Seat and Audi, many cassettes fit across brands — provided the engine code matches. So check the OEM or turbo number of your old turbo, for example 03G253014M for the Octavia II 1.9 TDI 77 kW, before you order.
