Saab CHRA / cartridges
A CHRA cartridge is the rotating internals of the turbocharger in one balanced package: shaft, compressor wheel, turbine wheel and bearing housing. Now that complete Saab turbos are becoming ever scarcer and more expensive, such a cartridge is the way to keep your 9-3 or 9-5 on the road affordably — after all, the original housing stays in place. We supply, among others, the TD04HL-15T for the 9-3 Aero and 9-5 Aero, a TD04HL core for the 9-3 SE 2.0L and a cartridge for the 9-3 2.0T BioPower with 129 kW. Before ordering, check the OEM or turbo number on the identification plate of your old turbo, for example 49189-01800 for the TD04HL-15T of the Aero models, so that wheel size and fitment match exactly.
