Wipers stopping halfway or running slowly?
A wiper motor that runs slowly, sticks halfway or no longer returns to its park position is worn internally or has burnt contacts on the park switch. First check the fuse and the connector; if the mechanism runs stiffly, lubricate the pivot points of the wiper linkage before writing off the motor. When replacing, mark the position of the wiper arms on the windscreen before undoing them — it saves adjustment afterwards.
