Xenon light cutting out or flickering?
If one xenon headlight cuts out intermittently, first swap the burners from left to right: if the fault moves with them, the bulb is worn out; if it stays on the same side, the ballast is the cause. When ordering, pay attention to the exact type (D1S, D2S, D1R) and the OE number, as ballasts are not interchangeable between generations. Always work on xenon with the battery disconnected — the ignition voltage runs into thousands of volts.
