Nissan suspension
Nissan builds a bit of everything, and you can see that in this collection. For the Patrol GQ/GU and Navara there are adjustable panhard rods, sway bars, raising kits and bump stop kits. For the Qashqai, X-Trail, Micra, Note and Almera you will find control arms, strut mounts, shock absorber mounts and sway bar links. And for the sporty models — 350Z, 370Z, Silvia S13/S14, 300ZX — there are adjustable shock absorber sets, camber plates and toe arms.
From Patrol to Qashqai: listen to your suspension
On the Qashqai, worn-out ball joints and control arm bushings are a recurring MOT item: you hear a clonking noise over speed bumps and feel play in the steering. A humming or droning noise that grows with speed belongs to a wheel bearing, rattling over cobblestones usually to the sway bar links. If you raise a Patrol or Navara, also fit an adjustable panhard rod so the axle is neatly centred again. Always replace wear parts on the left and right at the same time and finish with a wheel alignment — especially on the four-wheel drives.
