Guarding the go-kart feel
The short wheelbase and firm setup make a Mini wonderfully direct — but also unforgiving when something wears. Rattling or clattering at the front over cobblestones usually comes from the sway bar links, creaking when steering from a strut mount. If the turn-in becomes vague, check the control arm bushings. If you lower the car, adjustable camber arms keep the rear tyres flat on the tarmac and prevent one-sided wear. Replace everything in axle pairs, left and right together, and have the car aligned afterwards.
