Mercedes-Benz suspension
For Mercedes-Benz you will find suspension parts here for the C-Class (W203, W204, W205), E-Class (W211, W212, W213), S-Class, CLS, GLK and GLC, the M-Class and GLE, and the Vito and Viano vans. The range runs from complete 8- and 10-piece control arm kits and individual control arms with ball joint to shock absorbers and struts (including ADS versions), strut bearings and strut mounts, sway bar links and wheel spacers.
The multi-link axle: small rubber, big effect
Mercedes hangs its wheels on many separate arms and it drives fantastically — until play develops somewhere. A light ticking when parking or over cobblestones usually points to the torsion strut or tension rod ball joints at the front; a vague, wandering course to the bushings of the larger arms. Because the pivot points load each other, a complete kit per axle is often the most durable choice. With dampers, watch the version: if your car has ADS (electronically controlled damping), choose a damper suited to it, otherwise the system will stay in fault mode. Here too: replace left and right at the same time, only tighten bushings at ride height and finish with a wheel alignment. That way the car keeps tracking the way a Mercedes should.
