Mazda coilovers
The MX-5 is the star of this Mazda collection: there are kits for the NA, NB and even the ND (2016-2025). In addition you will find coilover kits for the RX-8 (SE3P, 2004-2011), the RX-7 FC3S, the Mazda 3 (BK and BL), the Mazda 6 (2003-2007) and the Mazdaspeed Protege. On these light, well-balanced cars a coilover kit instantly delivers a sharper steering feel and less body roll.
How to make the right choice
An entry-level kit with fixed damping is more than enough for the street; if you want to set the car up for track days or touring, choose a 24-way adjustable kit, widely available for the MX-5 and RX-8. Check the model year and generation — an NA kit will not simply fit an NB — and bear in mind that some kits cover only the front or rear axle. Have the wheel alignment done after installation for the best result.
