Cooling fans
Complete cooling fans (assemblies with motor and shroud) for the Audi Q7 and S4/S5, BMW 1 and 3 Series (17427788905), Ford C-Max, Fiesta and Transit, Porsche Cayenne and Boxster/911, Mercedes Sprinter and Fiat Grande Punto, among others. In addition, individual control modules and fan resistors, such as the popular control unit for the Audi A4/A5/A6/Q5 (8K0959501A).
Only overheating in traffic jams?
If the engine cools down nicely on the motorway but the temperature rises in stationary traffic, the fan is not running (properly). First test whether the fan runs when connected directly to 12V: if so, the resistor or control module is the culprit — a much cheaper repair than a complete unit. When ordering, pay attention to the wattage (e.g. 240W or 360W), the number of blades and the number of pins on the connector.
