Ford turbos
From the small 1.0 EcoBoost in the Fiesta and Focus to the 2.2 TDCi in the Transit and the 2.5 TD in the Ranger: in this collection you will find turbos for the most common Ford engines. The range includes complete turbos, CHRA cartridges, (electric) actuators, solenoid valves and oil lines for both petrol and diesel engines.
Diesel or EcoBoost: what to look out for
For the 1.6 TDCi, the GT1544V (OEM 753420, also known as 3M5Q6K682AE) is by far the most commonly fitted turbo; Ford shares this engine with Peugeot, Citroën and Volvo. A contaminated oil feed is a well-known cause of failure here — replace the oil line with strainer at the same time. For the 1.0 EcoBoost we supply both complete turbos (1799852) and separate cartridges, and for the Ranger and Mazda BT-50 you will find the VJ38 and RHF5, among others. Unsure whether to choose a complete turbo or just a CHRA? Only choose the cartridge if the housings of your old turbo are undamaged.
How to find the right one
The OEM number on your old turbo is the quickest route to the correct part: type it into the search bar and you will immediately see what fits. You can also use the make/model/year finder at the top of the page; when in doubt, check the engine code, because several power variants exist within a single model, each with its own turbo.
