Alternators complete with voltage regulator and pulley for the Audi A3, A4 and A6, BMW E46, E82 and E90, Mercedes A-, C- and E-Class and Sprinter, VW Polo and Transporter, Nissan Navara and Patrol, Citroën C4 Picasso and Mazda 323, among others. From 55A for the classic VW Beetle to 200A for the Mercedes Sprinter, supplemented by separate alternator regulators for VAG models and the Renault Clio III.
Alternator no longer charging?
An illuminated battery warning light or headlights that dim at idle point to an alternator delivering too little charging voltage. Measure across the battery terminals with the engine running: below 13.8 V the battery is no longer being recharged. Before replacing, also check the serpentine belt and the overrunning pulley — a slipping belt produces exactly the same symptoms. Choose your new alternator by amperage and OE number; you will find both in the product title.
