Death wobble on your Ram? Tackle the cause
The dreaded front axle shake around 60-80 km/h is almost always caused by play: a worn-out track bar, worn control arm ball joints or tired bushings. Check those parts with the wheels on the ground while someone moves the steering wheel back and forth — any visible movement in a joint is one too many. If you are lifting the truck, fit an adjustable track bar and longer control arms at the same time, so the axle is centred again and the caster angle is correct. Replace ball joints and bushings in axle pairs, left and right together, and finish with a wheel alignment.
