Dodge CHRA / cartridges
A CHRA cartridge is the internal rotating assembly of the turbocharger — shaft, compressor wheel, turbine wheel and bearings — fitted fully balanced into your existing turbo housing. This pays off especially with the heavy-duty Dodge turbos: the robust housings rarely fail, so with just a new cartridge the charger is as good as new. In this collection you will find the HY35W T3 core assembly for the Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 5.9L Cummins diesel (6BT, 2003-2007) and cartridges for the Dodge Sprinter 2500 and 3500 with the Mercedes-derived 2.7 CDI and 3.0 OM642 engines. Before ordering, check the OEM or turbo number on the old turbo, for example 743649-0029 for the Sprinter OM642 of 2007-2011, so the cartridge is certain to match your version.
