Fuel system
Everything for the fuel supply, from tank to engine: fuel pumps, injectors, throttle bodies, carburettors and accessories such as AN lines and aluminium fuel cells. Starting problems or misfiring — pump, filter or injector?
When faults occur, measure the fuel pressure first (you will also find a universal pressure tester here): low pressure points to a tired pump or clogged filter, while a single poorly spraying injector gives itself away through rough idling and misfiring on one cylinder. On diesels, the leak-off test per injector is the quickest check. That way you replace parts purposefully instead of guessing.
