BMW X5 air suspension
BMW X5 air suspension for the E53 (2000-2006), E70 (from 2007) and F15, plus the shared X6 parts (E71/F16): air springs, complete front axle air suspension struts, compressors and valve blocks.
Air spring, strut or compressor?
The E53 can have air on both axles: complete struts at the front (37116757501/37116757502) or separate air springs (37116761443/37116761444), and at the rear the air springs 37126750355 and 37126750356 — also available as a four-piece set. The E70 and X6 E71 are covered by the rear air springs 37126790078/37126790079 and the compressor valve block 37206799419; for the F15/F16 there are the rear air springs 37126795013 and 37126795014, individually or as a pair. Diagnosis is straightforward: if the car sags on one corner, that air spring is leaking; if the compressor keeps running without the car reaching its ride height, an air spring or air line is leaking and you need to find it first — otherwise the new compressor will run itself to death too. Always replace air springs per axle in pairs for an even stance.
