BMW turbos
BMW turbochargers and CHRA cartridges for virtually every BMW: 1 Series (114i, 116i, 118d, 120d), 2 Series and Active/Gran Tourer, 3 Series (318d, 320d, 335i), 4 and 5 Series (518d, 520d, 535d), 7 Series and the X1 through X6 — plus Mini Cooper S (R55-R61, F54). Both diesel (N47, B47, M47, M57) and petrol (N54, N55, B38, N63), from OE-style replacement to complete T3/T4 turbo kits with intercooler.
Complete turbo or just the cartridge?
With shaft play, blue smoke or oil consumption it is often only the CHRA cartridge (core assembly) that is worn. It costs roughly half the price of a complete turbo and you reuse your own compressor and exhaust housings. If a housing is damaged, or you want a straight bolt-on fit, choose a complete turbocharger. If boost pressure is lacking while the turbo itself is healthy, the electric actuator or boost pressure converter is often the culprit — we supply those separately, as well as oil feed and return lines (always replace these when fitting a new turbo).
How to find the right one
Search by the OEM number of your current turbo, for example 11657795499 (120d/320d 163 hp) or 49135-05895 (2.0d N47). No number at hand? Use the make/model/year finder at the top of the page — you will only see parts that fit. When in doubt, always check the engine code.
