BMW 5 Series coilovers
BMW 5 Series coilovers for the E34, E39, E60 and F10/F18, height adjustable and often damping adjustable too. The range runs from complete lowering kits for the E39 saloon (520i to 540i and the 520d-525tds diesels) to sets for the M5 E39 and the F10 (2009-2016).
Entry-level set or 24-way?
For daily use with a sportier feel, a fixed-damping sports set will do, such as those for the E39 saloon and Touring or the E60 RWD (2004-2010). If you want to be able to tune the damping, choose a 24-way set: available for the E39 (1995-2003) and specifically for the E60 xDrive versions (525xi, 528xi, 530xi) — so always check whether you need an RWD or xDrive set, because they are not interchangeable. For the E39 we also supply a complete front axle set with control arms. Take care with Touring versions with self-levelling (air) rear suspension: check in advance which variant your car has, because it requires a different solution than a standard coilover set.
