BMW 3 Series coilovers

Entry-level set or 24-way adjustable?
If your main goal is lowering with tighter handling, a fixed-damping sports set will do, for example for the E46 (316i to 330i) or the E36. If you really want to dial in the chassis, choose a 24-way set with adjustable damping: we supply these for the E36 saloon and touring, the E90-E93 (316i-335i, 2004-2013) and as a T6 set for the E30 with 51 mm struts. For the E36 there is also a set including control arms, and for the E46 a combination with anti-roll bars. If you lower substantially, plan for camber plates as well: the rear axle of a 3 Series quickly goes negative when lowered, and that costs tyres. Start with a moderate damping setting and build up from there — set too firm, you actually lose grip on poor road surfaces.
