Audi A6 coilovers
Audi A6 coilovers for the C5 (4B) and C7, height adjustable. The range is focused: a sports set for the A6 4B — which thanks to platform sharing also fits the VW Passat 3B/3BG — and for the C7 generation (2012-2018) both a set for the Avant Allroad quattro and a premium twin-tube coilover set for the quattro.
Entry-level set or premium twin-tube?
The sports set for the 4B is the affordable choice for those who mainly want lowering and sharper steering. The premium twin-tube set for the C7 quattro offers more damping comfort and more consistent performance: the twin-tube design keeps the damping more stable under high load and on longer journeys. If you drive an A6 or Allroad with worn air suspension, converting to a coilover set is often considerably cheaper than repairing the air suspension — bear in mind that the level warning light may then stay on without a module that deactivates the system. Before ordering, check whether you drive a quattro or FWD version, and have a wheel alignment carried out after fitting.
