After installation, the chain tensioners must be fully relaxed to maintain tension; merely removing the pins is not sufficient. All tensioners must be compressed so that the internal mechanism can fully extend. Then, turn the engine manually one full clockwise rotation to check that all components are correctly installed. Failure to do so will result in a rattling chain upon start-up.
